PFDAA 40th Anniversary Gala and Dance Workshop

You are cordially invited to participate in our 40th Anniversary Festivities, occurring from November 16th to November 19th, 2023. We have a number of fantastic events planned from Thursday to Sunday, and formally invite you and your entire group to come out to participate in this momentous occasion. We will also be featuring a workshop on the region of Podhale, led by Andrzej Budz. Answering the five Ws: WHAT? We are celebrating the Polish Folk Dance Association of Americas’ 40th Anniversary. Included will be presents for participants, surprises, Texan style food, and plenty of dancing. WHEN? November 16th - November 19th WHO? All PFDAA member groups and their representatives are invited to this event. WHY? We want to bring together the best of Polish culture by inviting all PFDAA member groups to celebrate this momentous occasion with us! We will be hosting a number of fun activities and include a ten hour workshop focused on Podhale. Houston is a fantastic place to hold this event due to its large airports, brand new Polish Consulate, and thriving Polish population, which promises to make the Gala Concert we put on a major success. WHERE? The 40th Anniversary will take place in Houston, Texas. Most activities will take place at the Polish Church in Houston at the following address: Our Lady of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church 1731 Blalock Rd, Houston, TX 77080 We highly recommend staying at the following hotel, we have a group rate set up for PFDAA groups for the weekend.
